Electromagnetic Door Holders are suitable for and mostly found in large-scale buildings like hospitals, hotels , department stores, etc. It prevents the spreading and moving of smoke within a confined space in case of fire.

The power of the door holder is supplied by the fire fighting system, i.e. 24VDC/VAC (12 VDC/VAC is available by special order) . It is a Fail-safe device which automatically cuts off the power and closes the fire door when the fire fighting system detects a fire. It can also be instantly released manually by pressing the release button.
