The power supplies at GEM provide constant electrical energy to electricity-activated locks, proximity readers, or other auxiliaries utilized in access control systems. GEM offers a range of power supplies which regulate and control the output voltage to a specific value required by the electrical devices. There is a battery in some of the models that serves as a secondary source of energy for the operation of the access control system in case primary power fails.
